During my bachelor’s studies, I aimed to design products that were durable, repairable, and reusable. In my early career, I quickly realized how limited my influence as a designer was. This encouraged me to raise awareness for sustainability within my teams through presentations and internal initiatives.
To deepen my expertise, I pursued a part-time MBA. My commitment led to the opportunity to present a circular product concept to the Britax executive team. I completed the program successfully, supported by my master’s thesis in collaboration with Trek.
At Trek, I developed comprehensive sustainability guidelines for product development. Through workshops, industry meetings, and conferences, I actively helped to push the topic forward and built an international network within the cycling industry.
Sustainability is not only part of my profession — it is a personal passion. I believe that sustainable thinking should be embedded naturally in every field.
